ACCEPTING PATIENTS
We use a microscope for magnification to perform our assessments and allow us to actually see your ear problems and treat accordingly.
There are three types of hearing loss.
We perform a full evaluation and complete head and neck exam to assess and identify the needed treatment to resolve your hearing loss issues. We use a microscope, precision instruments, and suction to remove any build up of cerumen (ear wax) in the canal. This removes any buildup effectively.
We can help evaluate you for:
Other treatments may involve water, candling, or other procedures which have varying results and tend to be more uncomfortable and painful. The optics we use allows both hands free and provides a clear and crisp view of the ear canal. Suction allows us to pull out the wax and not push it further into the canal or against the ear drum.
Complicated issues or further underlying causes may be found and we can work with you and other trusted ENT specialty doctors to develop understanding and plan a treatment coarse for you.
We Can Help - No matter how complicated or simple the ear case maybe.
Ear Wax Problem?
Ear wax (cerumen) is made of secretions from special glands in the ears combined with dead skin cells from the ear canal.
It serves to protect the ear canal as skin protectant and it also has antimicrobial properties.
Too Much Ear Wax?
Can cause ear pain, hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), ear fullness, or plugged ears.
Too Little Ear Wax?
Can cause itching. Scratching the ear canal can nick and damage the delicate skin in the canal that may lead to infection. We can help with the proper ear wax removal process.
Sudden Hearing Loss?
Hearing Loss - This needs to be evaluated as soon as possible. Waiting can limit treatment options and wait times at other ENT centers can be weeks if not months out for an appointment. Two to three weeks can be the difference between non surgical and surgical treatment options.
Currently seeing patients 11 years and older. Call us to schedule and appointment or to answer any questions.
